Nestled within the famed Terme Tettuccio, in the very heart of the most authentic Tuscany, this café stands as a living monument to the Belle Époque. It was inaugurated in June 1928 in the presence of Giuseppe Volpi di Misurata, then Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Italy, and adorned with splendid frescoes by artists Giulio Bargellini and Maria Biseo.

The boiserie and mirrors complete this jewel of architecture and art, whose unique atmosphere has enchanted illustrious figures and great artists over the years, from Pirandello to Mascagni, from De Chirico to Mastroianni. Even today, from the café’s tables, one can admire the gardens of the thermal baths, a peaceful oasis in the heart of Montecatini.
